The white cotton pullover long-sleeved shirt has embroidery on front placket, collar, and cuffs. The shirts are used for multiple costumes, and this one has been worn often. It's in fair condition with some minor signs of wear, and some stains. It looks good for costume wear.
The rest of the costume is in excellent condition, seldom if ever worn since there were more costumes than male dancers in the ensemble.
The maroon lightweight wool vest is completely lined, decorated with elaborate black gaitani braid designs.
The sleeveless jacket, also completely lined, is worn as the top layer. It has open vestigial sleeves which hang down the back, and elaborate gaitani trim on the back [see detail photo].
The traditional baggy shalvari style trousers are lightweight wool. They have a drawstring adjustable waist, and elaborate black gaitani braid designs on the legs. The placket fastens with hooks at the ankle, and the decorated cuff covers the shoe top.
Black lightweight wool sash wraps around the waist a couple of times, secured with safety pins.

The blue lightweight wool jacket is partly lined. It has elaborate gaitani braid designs on the sleeves, back, around all edges, with red inserts at the elbows.
Trousers are lightweight wool, in the traditional baggy shalvari style with a drawstring adjustable waist. The trouser legs have elaborate designs of black gaitani plus red wool accents. The decorated cuffs fasten at the ankles and cover the shoes.
Red lightweight wool sash wraps around the waist a couple of times, and is secured with safety pins.
